Louis XIII Le Jeroboam was born on a scale as great as the reputation of Louis XIII since its creation in 1874. A masterpiece of the Louis XIII collection, LE Jeroboam is released in a very limited quantity each year, obtained by a few privileged aficionados. Le Jeroboam is four times the capacity of the standard Louis XIII. Each decanter is individually fashioned by a team of nine exceptionally skilled crystal craftsmen working in unison at Cristallerie de Sevres.
This magnificent decanter also represents a piece of Cognac history – it is the first crystal Mathusalem ever to be released by a Cognac house. Created by more than 20 master craftsmen at Baccarat, this six litre masterpiece comes in a sumptuous display case that also contains eight crystal glasses, a serving platter and a pipette, in homage to the tasting ritual performed by every Rémy cellar master.
The Cognac inside is a unique blend of more than 1,200 Grande Champagne eaux de vie, each of which is more than 40 years old. It offers complex flavours that include myrrh, honey, plum, bark, leather, honeysuckle, immortelle, leather and passion fruit.
