Taking creative inspiration from the expansive Garden on the distillery grounds, the Splendours Collection is an exquisite collection of the rarest whiskies maturing at The Glen Grant. The collection of highly limited releases, which will be unveiled over the coming years, debuts with the release of an extraordinary 65-Year-Old single malt Scotch whisky, a spirit distilled in 1958 and nurtured to perfection for over six decades.
The 65-Year-Old, is a tribute to the Himalayan Blue Poppy, one of the rarest flowers on earth and a symbol of the eternal quest for excellence, that defines The Glen Grant. Its vivid sky-blue hues and delicate nature reflect the challenge of cultivating something so distinctive and scarce—a sentiment echoed in the creation of the whisky.
The Glen Grant 65-Year-Old is housed in a handcrafted masterpiece and inspired by the flower’s life cycle beginning with the seedling and building to a crescendo of nurture. The beautiful Cherry wood cradle holding the 65-Year-Old reflects a Mobius loop bringing to life a three-dimensional, everlasting shape, reflective of the plant’s life with the seed represented by the hand-blown bottle in the centre.
