Appleton Estate 50-Year-Old is a monumental achievement in rum-making — crafted to celebrate 50 years of Jamaican independence. This ultra-rare release is composed of rums aged for a minimum of 50 years, originally laid down in 1962, the year Jamaica gained its sovereignty.
Over five decades, these rums matured in oak barrels under the watchful care of Appleton’s master blenders, culminating in a spirit of extraordinary depth and elegance. The final blend was perfected by Joy Spence, the first female master blender in the spirits industry.
